Carlson, Gaussoin and Puntel wins 2024 outstanding paper

Nebraska turfgrass scientists Michael Carlson, Roch Gaussoin and Laila Puntel’s journal article was awarded a 2024 Outstanding Paper in the Applied Turfgrass Science Section of Crop, Forage & Turfgrass Management.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Turfgrass Science alumnus Michael Carlson is the main author and co-author, and advisors Roch Gaussoin, professor emeritus, and Lalia Puntel, adjunct, received the 2024 Outstanding paper in Applied Turfgrass Science section for the Crop, Forage & Turfgrass Management publication on their article in "A Review of Precision Management for Golf Course Turfgrass". The Crop and Forage & Turfgrass Management publication is published by the American Society of Agronomy (ASA) and the Crop Science Society of America (CSSA). The award was announced during the Tri-Society Meetings in San Antonio, Texas on November 2024.
